The Brief

Having created the visual identity for kids theatre company Monkey Trousers when they first launched, Nic was thrilled when Fran and Charlotte approached her to build a new website. The existing website, which was not bespoke and failed to fully reflect the brand, was also becoming difficult to maintain. It didn’t have the facility to provide a showcase for photos and videos from previous shows and accessing the ticketing system wasn’t as user-friendly as it could be.

Having helped Monkey Trousers Theatre out since the early days, Nic’s involvement with the website at this stage felt like a key part in the brand development.

The Approach

Nic redesigned the website to fully reflect the Monkey Trousers brand using additional imagery and styling specific to them. Incorporating the amazing photos and videos from previous shows provides the best showcase for their work and integrating their booking system means it is now easy for website users to buy tickets. The website can now also extend Monkey Trousers’ reach to new audiences through optimum SEO.

The new shows section is easy for Fran and Charlotte to update once the show has finished. The website is also able to accommodate more targeted and sophisticated marketing campaigns for upcoming shows.

The Result

Fran and Charlotte are thrilled with their new website which now fully reflects Monkey Trousers Theatre. It is consistent with the branding Nic originally created for the company and also provides the best platform to showcase all their amazing work – past and present and future!
